I have a PI4 connected via ethernet. It will connect via wifi to one network (Ubiquiti) but it stubbornly refuses to connect to another wifi network. The second network is a mikrotik device. I can connect to either wifi network just fine with my phone. I have deleted the network and connected fresh with the phone and no issues. I changed the password to abcdabcdabcdabcd and again I can connect fine with the phone not the PI. Stuff I have tried
- setting the wifi locale to AU
- different power supplies for the PI, it's currently using a 3A 5V native USB C supply
- deleting the wifi connection with nmtui
- connecting again with rnmtui and raspi-config
- reboot PI and router
- tried different router settings, enable WPA, WPA2, changed channel width, different frequencies
- typed passcode over and over, confirmed it is correct
- clicked show password to confirm I haven't typed it wrong
- checked timezone, locale etc is correct
The issue appears to be it is not accepting the pass code. It gives me this error:
Passwords or encryption keys are required to access the wireless network
