Troubleshooting • Re: Pi will not connect to Internet through Wifi or Ethernet

I am using a Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W. I have loaded it with Pi OS lite 32bit. It boots up fine, but will not connect to the internet through wifi or ethernet. I have it connected to my monitor through micro HDMI and it is asking for a password. I am unable to enter the password because I cannot SSH into it. This is my first time using a Pi device so I need help.
If the password request is being displayed on a monitor plugged in to the mini-HDMI (it is not micro-HDMI) socket, the password has to be typed on a keyboard connected to the Zero2W. Not on a remote keyboard over ssh.
I just ordered an adapter to use a keyboard on the Pi. Is there any other way to access it rather than have to connect a keyboard? I've looked at a lot of videos trying to solve this and it looks like they can just plug and connect without any other devices.
