Dear all,
I have a hopefully stupid problem with a DS18B20 temperature sensor.
The sensor is connected to a Raspberry Pi Zero 2W vie 1W. It is externally powered via the PI's 3.3V output. The sensor DQ pin is pulled up to 3.3V via a 4.7k resistor. I have loaded the W1 and W1therm kernel modules into my system. So far everything worked just fine. The raspberry could find the sensor and read a proper serial number. When connecting a different sensor the serial number changed, so I assume the general communication is working.
However, I only get a temperature readout of dead on 25.000 °C. I assume I have to initialize the sensor or enable the conversion. Has anyone encountered this phenomenon?
Best regards.
