I am running Plex server on Raspberry Pi 3B+. OS is Raspbian Stretch. Only 1x USB port is being used for external USB drive.
Extternal USB drive is a Samsung 1TB SSD, enclosed in a no-name caddy equiped with high-speed USB cable.
I have changed the caddy for ssd drive, and now the usb drive is being recognized by Raspberry. But it is strange how the "faulty" caddy is still working when connected to a PC and I even was able to copy large files at high speed rates.
