Hi.
I make a chess board time ago with reed switchs that open and close if a piece is in a square or not (the piece have a magnet below)
Then i have 64 reed switchs one for each square.

and i connect like this the switches to a mcp2037 (i use 4... i know that this can be improved but that is what im not interested now)

i want to know if i can replace the reed switches and use instead "A3144 hall sensor".
i could attach the 64 A3144 sensors to 4 MCP2037 like with the reed switches?

Can you tell me how it will be the connections?
Do you think that i could encounter a problem making this change?
Thanks
