A bit more investigation shows the default to POSIX is only when I access via SSH. I can access via VNC terminal and when I issue the "locale" command it DOES show en_US.UTF-8. In fact, my last 2 builds are like this.
So what brought this to my attention is I exported my Node-Red Pi3 (good machine) to my new RasPi 4b which has now replaced my Pi3 and my Node-Red is now producing dates in the format of dd/mm/yyyy where on my original Pi3 machine it was mm/dd/yyyy.
This is what got me looking at my locale.
So: 1> Do I have an issue? , and 2> Guess I need to look into Node-Red configuration?
