It started on Windows 11 Enterprise systems, Microsoft just made it that the computer will not connect to a share without authentication, this is done on the Windows end. This is now percolating down to all Windows versions apart from the 'home' versions and I wouldn't put it past Microsoft to eventually stop the 'home' editions from using unauthenticated access.currently it is working flawlessly like the drives physcally attached to my computer with nary a hitch
the difference between last night when it absoutly refused and todays is.. it's daylight I guess. nothing on the systems changed that I'm aware of.

Something must have changed, guest access just doesn't stop working overnight, were there uodates on any of the computers ?
