Any suggestion, comments, anyone that is whiling to help, I'll gladly appreciate it.
My impression is that a Capstone project is intended by design to be challenging.
But if you really feel that the course of study you have followed has not equipped you undertake it I would suggest going to your Supervisor, Tutor, Assessor or other responsible adult and discuss the situation with them.
Perhaps present your idea of not using an Arduino to the person who suggested it and explore the reasons for the recommendation with them?
